All clear: Southbound lanes of Highway 100 reopened at Janesville Road

HALES CORNERS — The southbound lanes of WIS 100 at Janesville Road reopened around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28th. They had been closed due an accident that occurred earlier that morning.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the accident involved a tanker truck and a diesel fuel spill. The fuel spill was contained and cleanup efforts were complete shortly after 1 p.m. Detours were set up to take motorists around the scene of the incident.
