WAUWATOSA — The Wauwatosa School District is distancing itself from comedian Bill Cosby.

For years, the Wauwatosa School District has offered a national “Safety Town” course. It is a program designed to teach kids under the age of five traffic, fire and personal safety — and Bill Cosby is the honorary chairman.

Cosby’s face is even on the certificates handed out to local kids — and on the Safety Town organization’s website.

Dozens of women have accused Cosby of drugging them and then raping them.

Court documents have revealed Cosby admitted to getting Quaaludes to give to women he wanted to have sex with.

In a statement, the Wauwatosa School District says:

Bill Cosby has never been criminally charged.
