Milwaukee police: Two shot, injured in two separate shooting incidents

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred Tuesday night, August 11th and early Wednesday morning, August 12th.

The first shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. near N. 27th Street and W. Vienna Avenue.

According to police, a 26-year-old man was shot in front of a residence during an attempted robbery. The man suffered a non-life-threatening wound.

No suspects are in custody.

The second shooting occurred near 20th and Hampton around 1 a.m. Police say the male victim sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The circumstances that led to the shooting are unknown.

The incident remains under investigation.
