MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police arrested two convicted felons after they fled from officers and pointed a loaded gun at them.

District One officers were on patrol in the area of N. Water Street and E. Wisconsin Avenue around 2:35 a.m. on August 15 when they were approached by several citizens who reported there were two men with a gun standing outside a nearby vehicle. When the men saw the officers, they got in their car and fled.

Two additional officers were in the 600 block of N. Water Street when the vehicle pulled up to them and one of the men pointed the gun at the officers. Officers pursued the vehicle and the suspects were taken into custody in the 600 block of N. 2nd Street a short time later. A loaded 9mm gun was found on the rear passenger’s seat.

Both suspects are 34-years-old and from Milwaukee and both are convicted felons. The suspects face various charges including Fleeing and Officer, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Pointing and Aiming a Firearm at a Law Enforcement Officer.

This case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days for a charging decision.

Another incident that would have happened even with the strictest gun laws in the country. Background check? Skipped it. Restricted mag capacity? Irrelevant. Gun-free/posted zone? Obviously not. “Assault weapon ban”? N/A. The law that says you can’t point guns at cops? Nope.

How about keeping felons behind bars? Now there’s a change I can accept.

Should’ve just shot them and saved the taxpayers money. Of course Flynn and Trolley Tom would have fired them for defending themselves.

So, these “inner city gentlemen” are looking at what? 2 days. I’m sure that when the lib judge hears that “hims a good boy” they will be set free.

Judges almost never hear these cases. District attorney John Chisholm gives them a liberal deal. And the felons are back on the street. We need a new district attorney!

You just remember one thing and one thing only!!! This is a safe city and you will continue to live here and pay your taxes. You will learn to like where you live and you’ll keep your mouth shut about the crime in this city! You will do as I say and preach what I teach! Do you understand? I don’t care if you can’t sleep at night because of gunfire in the streets you will like it and accept it!! PERIOD!
