This smartphone app checks kids’ eyes for a common disorder in seconds

MILWAUKEE -- There is a new way for doctors to test kids for a common eye disorder – and all it takes is a smartphone app.

It’s called GoCheckKids and was developed by some very smart opthamologists. The app screens for Amblyopia by taking a photo of eyes.

You can learn more about GoCheck Kids on their website. The app is only available to doctors. Talk to your healthcare provider to see if they participate.
