Green Bay Packers make final cuts, includes WR Jared Abbrederis and RB Rajion Neal

GREEN BAY -- It was a big day for the Green Bay Packers as they slimmed down their roster to the mandated 53 players on Saturday, September 5th. Two of the most surprising cuts for the Packers was running back Rajion Neal and former Wisconsin Badgers wide receiver, Jared Abbrederis.

The Green Bay Packers released the following players:


    The team also waived/injured WR Larry Pinkard and LB Jermauria Rasco. Additionally, DE Letroy Guion and DE Datone Jones were placed on the reserve/suspended list.

    The transactions were announced Saturday by Ted Thompson, Green Bay Packers Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.
