Firefighters called out to home on Menomonee River Parkway in Menomonee Falls for fire

MENOMONEE FALLS -- The Menomonee Falls Fire Department was called out to a home on the Menomonee River Parkway (near McKinley Road) on Wednesday afternoon, September 9th for a fire.

The call came in around 2:00 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke coming from the single-family home.

It is not believed that anyone was injured.

This fire was upgraded to a MABAS box alarm, causing fire departments from Milwaukee, Elm Grove, Wauwatosa, Lisbon, Germantown, Richfield, and Brookfield to either respond to the scene or to staff the Menomonee Falls Fire Department while the fire was being fought.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
