MENOMONEE FALLS — The Waukesha Fire Department’s hazmat team was called out to Fountain Boulevard in Menomonee Falls on Thursday evening, September 10th.

The call came into the Waukesha Fire Department from the Menomonee Fire Department around 7:30 p.m.

We’re told crews are investigating some sort of chemical that could be hazardous in a business in the area. A sprinkler inside the business was apparently activated.

The business was evacuated.

In addition to the hazmat team and the Waukesha/Menomonee Falls fire departments, the Germantown Fire Department and Butler Fire Department were also called out to the scene to assist.
