U.S. Marshals search for Rose Prescott; say her child may be in danger

MILWAUKEE -- U.S. Marshals are looking for 36-year-old Rose Prescott. They say Prescott likely has a one-and-a-half year old child with her.

Prescott hasn't seen her parole officer since November. She's required to meet with her parole officer as part of her criminal sentence for child neglect which resulted in two infant deaths.

In April 2008, Milwaukee police responded to Prescott's home at 24th and Burleigh for a co-sleeping death. Police say Prescott admitted to having a drink and sleeping with her baby on a mattress.  The baby was two months old.

In March 2009, police were called again to Prescott's home at 29th and Chambers. Her baby had suffocated while sleeping on a couch. She was just six days old. U.S. Marshals say Prescott was intoxicated when she picked her kids up from daycare that night.

U.S. Marshals say Prescott has an alcohol problem and is likely on Milwaukee's north side. They say it's possible she's with her baby's father, Eric Brown.

U.S. Marshals say their top concern is the safety of her child.

Prescott is 5'6'' and weighs 180 pounds. She has RIP tattoos on her upper right and left arms with the names of her deceased babies. She also has a tattoo of 'Toby Rose' on her right forearm in the shape of a cross. Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call U.S. Marshals at 414-297-3707.
