28-year-old man shot, injured near 29th & Wisconsin, no suspects in custody

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday night, September 20th.

It happened around 9:45 p.m. near 29th and Wisconsin Avenue.

The victim, a 28-year-old man, sustained a non-life-threatening injury and is being treated at a local hospital. The victim indicated that he was walking in the area when he heard people nearby arguing; subsequently a shot was fired and he was struck.

There are no suspects in custody at this time.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
