Charged: 30-year-old Oshkosh man accused in shooting death of 42-year-old woman he lived with

OSHKOSH — A 30-year-old Oshkosh man is charged with killing a woman he was living with.

Samson Gomoll

Samson Gomoll is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the Sunday shooting death of 42-year-old Stacey Strange. Cash bond was set at $1 million Tuesday.

The complaint says Strange asked a woman who gave her a ride to come inside because she was afraid of how Gomoll would behave.

Oshkosh Northwestern Media (http://oshko.sh/1iKJ6na) reports when Strange entered the apartment, Gomoll accused her of taking a magazine for his assault rifle. Strange denied taking the magazine and retrieved it from the bedroom.

The complaint says Gomoll pulled a handgun from under a couch pillow and fired several times at Strange. When police arrived they found her dead.

Gomoll was not there. He was arrested later that day.
