Charged: Oshkosh man accused of mailing marijuana to his grandmother's house

OSHKOSH — An Oshkosh man faces charges after authorities say they intercepted a package addressed to him
containing marijuana that was sent his grandmother's house.

Oshkosh Northwestern Media reports 19-year-old Brett Peters is charged with possession with intent to deliver
marijuana and obstructing an officer. He appeared in court Monday, September 21st.

A criminal complaint says a postal inspector contacted police about a package addressed to Peters holding more than 4 pounds of marijuana. The complaint says the package was delivered and authorities executed a search warrant at a residence, where the package was open on a kitchen table.

According to the complaint, police spoke to Peters' grandmother, who then called him. The complaint says Peters got to the house and ran from police before he was arrested.
