Police: 14-year-old boy shot, injured while walking down the street in broad daylight

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police say a 14-year-old boy was shot and injured in broad daylight on Wednesday afternoon, September 23rd.

It happened around noon, near 45th and Center.

Police say the boy was shot by an unknown suspect in a passing vehicle as he was walking down the street.

The boy was taken to the hospital, and he is expected to survive.

MPD continues to seek a motive and search for suspects in this case.
