During a recent visit to the store, the clerk told Linda Tuttle someone had won $1 million with a ticket purchased at the store.

Tuttle then went home to check a pile of some old mail where she found the ticket, learning she was the big winner, according to the Michigan State Lottery.

Linda Tuttle matched the winning numbers in the May 26 Mega Millions drawing: 01-39-52-69-72.
