Latest: Kenosha mom accused of killing her two children enters not guilty pleas
KENOSHA COUNTY -- Lucia Hernandez-Alvarez pleaded not guilty on Friday, September 25th to charges tied to the deaths of her two children, three-year-old Alicia Hernandez and one-year-old Javier Hernandez.

In court Friday, Hernandez-Alvarez waived her right to a preliminary hearing. At that point, the judge found there was probable cause to move the case to trial -- and Hernandez-Alvarez entered her not guilty pleas.
Investigators say Hernandez Alvarez murdered her children in their Kenosha home near 50th St. and 33rd Ave. late on Friday night, September 11th.
A mass of Christian burial for Alicia and Javier was held on Friday, September 18th at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Kenosha. A GoFundMe page has also been set up for Alicia and Javier.
Hernandez-Alvarez is expected back in court on November 19th.
