MPD: Alert neighbor helps Milwaukee police nab two burglary suspects

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police, with the help of an alert neighbor, arrested two teenage suspects wanted in a north side burglary.

A citizen called Milwaukee police around 5:20 p.m. on September 28th when they saw two suspects breaking into a home near N. 30th Street and W. Courtland Avenue.

District Five officers responded to the scene and found one of the home’s windows had been broken. One of the suspects, a 13-year-old Milwaukee boy, was still inside the house and was taken into custody.

His accomplice, a 16-year-old Milwaukee male, was taken into custody a block away in the 4600 block of N. 30th Street.

MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days for charges.
