78-year-old man passes away after his vehicle was hit by RV on US 151 in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY -- Dodge County Sheriff's officials say a 78-year-old Brandon, Wisconsin man involved in a crash on US 151 this past Friday, September 25th has passed away.

The crash happened around 3:15 p.m. on US 151 at Oakwood Road in the Township of Trenton.

Sheriff's officials say a preliminary investigation has indicated a vehicle operated by Orville Kemink was facing west in the median cross over on 151 at Oakwood Road.

The vehicle conducted a left/south turn onto 151, and traveled into the right/outside southbound traffic lane.

A vehicle operated by 68-year-old Ronald Buholzer of Monroe was headed south on 151 in the right/outside traffic lane, approaching Oakwood Road in an RV.  The front of the RV struck the rear of Kemink's vehicle -- forcing Kemink's vehicle off the roadway.

Buholzer and his passenger, 63-year-old Steven Buholzer of Monroe weren't hurt.

Kemink sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight for Life helicopter to Aurora Summit Hospital. He passed away on Wednesday afternoon, September 30th.
