MILWAUKEE — There is a new complaint against Meijer for selling items below cost — and this complaint is coming from Woodman’s.
Woodman’s has made the complaint to the state’s Department of Agriculture, Trade & Consumer Protection.
The complaint includes photos of bulk coffee priced on sale for $4.98.
It is one of several filings claiming the Michigan grocery company is breaking the law by pricing certain items below cost.
The state has sent Meijer a warning note and is looking into the other complaints.
