Dramatic video shows girl jumping out of moving car to escape abductor



BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Police in Connecticut are searching for a woman who is accused of trying to abduct a girl on Monday.

The 17-year-old victim was walking to school when a woman driving a charcoal gray Toyota Yaris approached her and lured her into the car.

Once inside the vehicle, the girl was assaulted. Surveillance video released by police shows the girl jumping out of the woman's car after she allegedly tried to abduct her, according to WTIC.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic woman in her 40s with freckles and black hair. Anyone with information about this incident should contact Detective Jeff Holtz at 203-581-5293.
