Visit Chicago for the day and stay into the evening; Amtrak Hiawatha adds new late-night rides

MILWAUKEE/CHICAGO -- Take the train to Chicago for the day and stay into the evening without having to worry about getting back home. Amtrak Hiawatha service has added new Saturday evening trips between Chicago and Milwaukee through January 2nd, 2016.

Amtrak Hiawatha's "fall-holiday schedule" has Train 343, departing from Chicago at 11:10 p.m., and Train 344, departing from Milwaukee at 10:40 p.m.

The route, with intermediate stops in Glenview, Illinois, and in Wisconsin at Sturtevant and the Milwaukee Airport, carried nearly 800,000 passengers last year, ranking it among the top 10 Amtrak routes nationally.
