Developer has plans for former Kmart store in Hales Corners

HALES CORNERS -- Big plans are in the works for the Country Fair Shopping Center in Hales Corners.

The shopping center was purchased last week for more than $3 million. Developers want to either renovate the vacant former Kmart store or demolish it.

The property also includes a 38,000 square foot strip of stores -- including a Dollar Tree and a Chinese restaurant.
