Authorities respond to fire near E. Park Place & Prospect Avenue

MILWAUKEE -- Authorities respond to a fire that started in the attic of a home near the intersection of E. Park Place and Prospect Avenue in Milwaukee Friday evening, October 16th.

Milwaukee police say they were notified of the fire shortly after 8:30 p.m.

All four people living inside the home, which is believed to be split into separate renting units, were able to get out without injury.

The fire was extinguished with a one-alarm response form the Milwaukee Fire Department, plus one extra engine.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
