Whitefish Bay police recover stolen vehicle minutes after it was taken

SHOREWOOD — Whitefish Bay police were able to recover a stolen vehicle less than ten minutes after it was stolen. The stolen car was found abandoned at the intersection of Wilson Drive and Congress Street in Shorewood Friday evening, October 16th.

Authorities say the vehicle, a black Honda Accord, was stolen shortly before 8 p.m., but was found approximately 5-10 minutes later.

The vehicle was driven up on the front lawn of an apartment complex when it was abandoned, police say.

It is unclear where the vehicle was originally stolen from.

Whitefish Bay police will continue to investigate this incident.
