Police: Two shot, injured near 25th & Wells during drug deal, four arrested

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday, October 17th at approximately 3:25 p.m. near 25th and  Wells.

According to police, a 51-year-old man was shot during a drug transaction in which he was robbed. One of the suspects in the robbery and shooting was also shot during the incident.

The 51-year-old victim sustained a serious injury. Police say he is in stable condition. The suspect who was shot is a 17-year-old boy. Police say he sustained a non-life-threatening injury.

Both the victim and the injured suspect are being treated at local hospitals.

The injured suspect and three other subjects were located in a nearby apartment building. All of the subjects were arrested.

This incident will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County D.A.’s office.
