Suspected drunk driver arrested after crashing vehicle, injuring passenger

DODGE COUNTY -- A suspected impaired driver caused a serious crash in Dodge County overnight, October 18th.

Authorities say the crash happened around 1:30 a.m., on State Highway 60 in the Town of Clyman.

Sheriff's officials say the 23-year-old driver blew a stop sign and crashed into a ditch in the Wild Goose Trail parking lot. He was uninjured but his 24-year-old passenger was. That man was flown to Summit Hospital -- his condition is unclear at this time.

The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated and taken to the Dodge County Jail.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office Crash Investigation Team.
