Tech For Good: TOMS turns to virtual reality to inspire a new generation of givers

MILWAUKEE -- TOMS has been giving away one pair of shoes for every pair you buy since 2006. Now, the company is giving anyone who buys a pair experience what it’s like to donate that other pair in a far off country. The four minute virtual giving trip video was directed by Jon Watts; the same guy who did Spider-Man. You can experience the trip at nearly 100 toms stores worldwide.
