DELAVAN — A Silver Alert has been cancelled for 95-year-old Albert Van Der Veen of Delavan. Officials say Albert was found safe Thursday, November 5th in Illinois. 

A Silver Alert was issued after Albert left his residence in the City of Delavan at approximately 5 a.m. Wednesday, November 4th. After that,  he was spotted at a gas station in Evansville at 6:40 a.m. Officials say he left the gas station traveling westbound on Highway 14 towards Dane County.

Officials announced Thursday, November 5th that Albert was found safe. No other information about the circumstances of Albert’s disappearance were available.
