Police search for vehicle involved in hit-and-run that killed woman near 20th & Bolivar

MILWAUKEE -- Police believe a hit-and-run that killed a woman Thursday evening, November 5th was done intentionally. The incident happened at the corner of 20th and Bolivar around 8:00 p.m.

Whether the driver meant to kill the victim is not known, but police believe they surely meant to hit 35-year-old Reeanna Ramazini.

"It just kept right on going. Wow," said Pam Klak, neighbor.

Klak lives nearby and was watching television with her mother when she heard a loud boom.

"Even over the TV, I said to her, 'that was an accident.' I thought it was two cars maybe. I got up and looked out the window and I saw this lady laying in the street and I said, 'Mom, it was a person hit.' There was no movement or anything," Klak said.

She thought the person in the street was badly hurt but it was worse.

Two off-duty police officers saw the victim and rendered first aid until paramedics arrived. But, 35-year-old Reeanna Ramazini was dead -- killed just a few yards from her home.

Klak is highly disturbed that the driver didn't stop.

"Own up to it. I mean, she has family that is grieving over her death and then for you to leave the scene of the accident," said Klak.

Police believe the hit was intentional, although they have not revealed why.

Authorities are now searching for a white four-door SUV that fled the scene heading north on 20th Street -- it is believed to have front end damage.
