Mayor Barrett plans Monday evening vigil to honor the victims of the Paris terror attacks

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett has announced a vigil in Milwaukee Monday evening, November 16th to honor the victims of the Paris terror attacks.

The vigil will take place at 5:15 p.m. on the southeast corner of Water and Wells.

At least 129 people were killed, and more than 300 people wounded in a series of attacks in Paris on Friday, November 13th.

They were concertgoers and football fans.

They were students, teachers, journalists, architects and lawyers.

One was on a roller derby team.

In all, nearly 500 people from all walks of life and all corners of the world were either killed or hurt in the coordinated attacks.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks -- which France's President described as "an act of war."

It's possible suspects who were directly involved in the attacks remain at large, a French counterterrorism source close to the investigation told CNN.

Seven attackers were killed.

Authorities said Sunday they were hunting for a Belgium-born French national who's one of three brothers suspected in the Paris terror attacks.

Belgium on Sunday issued an international warrant for Salah Abdeslam.
