SOUTH MILWAUKEE — Firefighters in South Milwaukee had to put out a fire in the upper unit of a duplex on Saturday morning, November 21st.

The fire broke out around 5 a.m. When firefighters arrived on the scene, there was fire in the attic.

Oak Creek and Cudahy Fire Departments assisted in putting out the fire. It was quickly extinguished.

Officials say the fire did not extend to more of the attic area under the blown-in insulation.
