4-Ever A Legend: Thousands ready to see Brett Favre honored at Lambeau Field

GREEN BAY -- It's going to be an exciting night at Lambeau Field on Thursday, November 26th -- Thanksgiving evening. Brett Favre’s name and retired number will be unveiled inside the stadium at halftime of Green Bay’s game against the Chicago Bears. It's also the first home Thanksgiving game for the Packers since 1923.

The Favre celebration is the completion of a season-long reconciliation between #4 and the franchise. Favre’s name and retired No. 4 will be unveiled on Lambeau Field’s north facade during halftime of the game.

Favre was replaced by Rodgers, a first-round draft pick who was the backup for three years. Rodgers said on Tuesday that there has been a good, proper healing process for everybody involved.

Hall of Fame quarterback Bart Starr is also expected to attend on Thursday. He is recovering from two strokes and a heart attack.

The Green Bay Packers have created a very in-depth and interactive website on Favre's accomplishments and careers. CLICK HERE to check it out.
