How a hacking group is working on taking down terrorists

MILWAUKEE -- The hacker group Anonymous has targeted large companies before including PayPal and Sony. Now, they’re turning their attention to ISIS.

Anonymous has pledged a cyber shakedown on the terrorist group ISIS starting with their Twitter and social media accounts. Cyber security expert Clifford Neuman from the Information Sciences Institute in Marina del Rey focuses on internet security. Neuman says that the hacking group is shutting down ISIS accounts by having multiple members report the accounts to Twitter. So far, there have been an estimated 20 thousand accounts disabled by Anonymous.
