"It's just fun:" Black Friday shoppers get a head start on holiday gift buying

GLENDALE -- Stores all across our area are bustling with shoppers trying to get the best deals on Thanksgiving. But it was a soggy start to the holiday shopping season.

Kohl's

At the Kohl's located in Bayshore Town Center, dozens put up with the elements.

"It's just fun, I don't know why, it just is. I can't explain it," said Lisa Davenport, Milwaukee.

"You wait in line with people and they're really friendly," said Heidi Zdrojewski.

Standing outside in front of the store, they are ready to get the first deals of the holiday season.

At 6:00 p.m., a flood of shoppers enter the store -- some run off with determination while others drag behind.

Jaysson Lafreniere follows his fiance, pushing the cart as it fills with boxes.

"We come for this. She got a stove already, now this," said Jaysson.

Just as soon as customers come in, they head to the line, pay and check out -- ready for what the rest of the season has in store.

"I'll be up again at 5:00 a.m., waiting in another line," said Davenport.

This is just the beginning, we've got 28 days left until Christmas!
