Faith Builders come together to "show love" to people in need this holiday season

MILWAUKEE -- One Milwaukee group comes together to help families in need all year long. But during the holiday season, Faith Builders do something extra special.

"Faith Builders Community Teams" has been collecting Christmas gift donations for the past few months. For the fifth year in a row, they want to make sure that every family in need in the Walker's Point and Clarke Square area has a reason to celebrate this Christmas.

They've set a goal of 20,000 Christmas gifts to donate, and they're already almost halfway to their goal!

"What we're doing is we're showing love to people by our actions. And that's what this whole season is all about, showing that love to people," said Faith Builders Church Associate Pastor, Richard Schwoegler.

Last year, they exceeded their gift goal and were able to give more than 11,000 presents to families outside of their target area.

If you'd like to drop off a gift donation or give them a hand with wrapping presents, head to Faith Builders Church located at 4901 S. Howell Avenue.
