MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Art Museum is being transformed into one giant art studio -- and you and your family can check it out for free! Allison Peck joined the Studio A team with the information you need to know.

Kohl's Community Free Day at the Milwaukee Art Museum
Sunday, December 6, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This is the perfect time for families to check out the renovated Museum and participate in interactive community art activities, meet artists, and enjoy storytelling, performances, and music. Create an art installation with a local artist, paint a portrait of yourself and add it to a massive community mural, build sculptures based on your favorite color, and capture the new views at drawing stations throughout the Museum.

Kids will want to check out the brand new Kohl’s Art Generation Gallery: Rubbish! to explore how artists have turned trash into treasure and the Kohl’s Art Generation Lab to learn all about the art and culture of Haiti. Admission is free for everyone.

Families who decide to join the Museum get 50% off a Family/Dual membership or above courtesy of Kohl’s Department Stores.
