Police: Man reported in Milwaukee River, removed himself from water

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police were called to a subject in the water near N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Knapp St. on Friday, December 4th.

Upon arrival shortly after 11:30 a.m., the officers found the 23-year-old Milwaukee man had been in the Milwaukee River — and had already removed himself from the water.

The man was taken to a local hospital for a physical and mental health evaluation.
