"Awesome:" Thousands pack the streets in Tosa to get a glimpse of the CP Holiday Train



WAUWATOSA -- The Christmas spirit rolled through Wauwatosa Friday night, December 4th! Thousands of people packed downtown as the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train made its way through Tosa for the very first time.

The locomotive is decked out in Christmas lights and making several stops in our area Friday night, including Milwaukee, Hartland, Watertown and Columbus.

"I think it's a great community event and I think the story about the two Girl Scouts bringing it to Tosa is really awesome and the fact that they're collecting food for families is really wonderful," said Joann Carini, Milwaukee.

Saturday, December 5th the train will be in central and western Wisconsin. Visitors are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to the train stations.

It is a kickoff to the holidays, ready for more stops along the way!
