BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA — One man went to great heights to avoid police in Brisbane, Australia.

Officials say a 21-year-old man was out with friends on Saturday night, December 5th in Brisbane when he got separated from the group.

For some reason, he decided to climb a crane and did not come down for nearly seven hours! All the while taunting police and showing no fear.

“It was pretty much, ‘oh my god’ there’s a dude up on the top of the crane swinging by one arm,” said a witness.

Eventually, the man came down by sliding along cables to get past specialized officers sent to get him.

The man put up one more fight when he was met by police at the bottom.

He now faces several charges.
