Harley-Davidson plans to lay off 250 people in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Harley-Davidson plans to lay off 250 people in Milwaukee.

The company has already begun to offer early retirement incentives to many Milwaukee employees.

According to the company, the layoffs affect salaried support staff.

The motorcycle maker is currently letting 250 workers go at its global locations.

Harley-Davidson would not specify how many employees would be cut by the end of the month.
