Police: Teenage victims shot & injured in separate incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say two teenagers were shot and injured in separate incidents on Tuesday night, December 29th.

Police say a shooting happened near 37th and Walnut shortly before 5:00 p.m.

Police say a 15-year-old boy was shot and hurt. It is believed the boy will survive. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

MPD is looking for suspects.

There is no word at this point as to a motive for the shooting.

Police say the second shooting occurred following a traffic incident around 7:45 p.m. near 25th and Rogers. The victim was then driven to the area near Layton and National.

Police say an 18-year-old woman was shot and hurt. She was taken to the hospital for treatment, and it is believed she will survive.

There are no suspects in custody and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
