Firefighters battle garage fire in Menomonee Falls; home also suffers some damage

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Firefighters battled a house fire on Roosevelt Dr. near Shady Lane in Menomonee Falls on Wednesday evening, December 30th.

The call came in around 5:15 p.m.

Firefighters found a large amount of smoke coming from the home’s garage when they arrived at the scene.

The fire was put out from the garage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. A damage estimate has not been determined.

There were no injuries.

The majority of the damage caused by the fire was in the garage, but some of the home suffered soot and smoke damage.

There were about 10 other fire departments called to aid and assist the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in fighting this fire.
