Officials called out to Beaver Dam Lake for ice rescue; no one was found

BEAVER DAM -- Officials with the Beaver Dam Fire Department was called out for an ice rescue on Wednesday morning, December 30th.

It was shortly before 8:30 a.m. when the call was received, indicating a person had gone through the ice near Sunset Bay in Beaver Dam.

A caller reported seeing someone go through the ice on the west side of Beaver Dam Lake.

Beaver Dam Fire Department and Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies responded.

The Beaver Dam Fire Department deployed a hovercraft and searched the area where the person had been reportedly seen.

After an extensive search, no one was found.
