Racine police seek suspect after armed robbery at "Your Mini Sweet Shop" on S. Memorial Drive

RACINE -- Racine police are seeking a suspect after an armed robbery Saturday night, January 9th at the "Your Mini Sweet Shop" on S. Memorial Drive.

It happened just after 8:00 p.m.

Police say a store clerk indicated an unknown suspect entered the store, pointed a handgun at him and demanded money from the register.

The clerk gave the suspect an unknown amount of cash, and the suspect fled the store.

Police say this investigation is active and ongoing.

Investigators conducted a neighborhood canvas and are currently following up on leads and information.
