MILWAUKEE -- The kids call her Mama Mac and she's making a world of difference at one Milwaukee Public School.

“Mama Mac” – an MPS safety and security assistant - started Mama Mac’s Closet at South Division High School almost ten years ago to help meet the needs of students at the school. Kids need a coat? Mama Mac has it. Hygiene items? She has that too. Mama Mac even has food in her closet.

I have had the privilege of working with Mamma Mac for the last five years at South Division. Her dedication and love for the students of the community is simply awesome. Thank you for everything that you do for both the students and the community!!!
