MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened on Tuesday afternoon, January 19th.

It happened shortly after 1:00 p.m. near 12th and Chambers.

Police say a 17-year-old boy from Milwaukee was shot during circumstances that remain under investigation.

The victim was taken to the hospital, and he is expected to survive.

The investigation is ongoing and MPD continues to seek suspects.
