Full throttle in 2016: Harley-Davidson Museum features new "Photos from the Flat Track" exhibit

MILWAUKEE -- 2016 is the year of racing at Harley-Davidson, and to celebrate they're opening a new exhibit and revamping the old one at Milwaukee's Harley-Davidson Museum.

The museum's new exhibit is called, "Raceday - Photos from the Flat Track," featuring photography from flat track racing's foremost photographer, Dave Hoenig.

They've also refreshed their design lab which features bikes from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

"We've been very excited to see how thrilled people have been to see these beautiful machines. A lot of them have been a part of our permanent collection but haven't ever been on display in the museum before," said Tim McCormick, Harley-Davidson Museum communications project manager.

The bikes will be in the design lab for the next two years -- but you've only got until Labor Day to see "Photos from the Flat Track."
