Developing: Watertown police conduct death investigation, possible overdose

WATERTOWN — Watertown police are conducting a death investigation from an incident that happened on Monday, January 25th.

Officers were dispatched to a duplex on Perry St. around 8:45 a.m. Monday for a report of an unresponsive, 16-year-old male. Attempts to resuscitate the subject were unsuccessful.

An autopsy was conducted on January 25th — and preliminary indications indicate the cause of death was the result of an overdose. Toxicology results however will not be available for six to eight weeks.

No threat exists to the general public and citizens with information concerning the death are encouraged to contact the Watertown Police Department at 920-261-6660 or report it anonymously by texting “WTTN” and your tip to Tip411 (847411).
