Developing: Watertown police conduct death investigation, possible overdose

WATERTOWN -- Watertown police are conducting a death investigation from an incident that happened on Monday, January 25th.

Officers were dispatched to a duplex on Perry St. around 8:45 a.m. Monday for a report of an unresponsive, 16-year-old male. Attempts to resuscitate the subject were unsuccessful.

An autopsy was conducted on January 25th -- and preliminary indications indicate the cause of death was the result of an overdose. Toxicology results however will not be available for six to eight weeks.
