WEST ALLIS — West Allis police say several “ATM skimming devices” have been found on ATMs in their city recently.

The devices allow thieves to steal the information from your ATM card and then make withdrawals or purchases against your financial accounts.

The devices can look like the photo attached to this story — but they can also come in various shapes, colors, and sizes.

When using an ATM, officials say you should be aware of your surroundings and the ATM itself. If something looks or seems unusual, do not use the ATM and call police.
