Kenosha police investigate death of seven-month-old baby boy

KENOSHA -- Kenosha police are investigating the death of a seven-month-old baby boy.

This case was reported around 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2nd.

We're told the child was found unresponsive by his mother in an apartment near 45th Street and 36th Avenue in Kenosha. The child died at the hospital.

The cause of death is pending toxicology testing, but no obvious signs of injury were noted to the child.

Police say this death does not appear to be suspicious.

We're told the baby boy was ill at the time of his passing.

This death, along with the death of a five-month-old infant that occurred in Kenosha on Wednesday, February 3rd are not being considered criminal cases currently.

The investigation into both of these deaths continues.
